On the Iraqi Day of Tolerance and Coexistence, the Halabja Disabled Organization hosted a Peace and Coexistence Camping event for 30 youths, both with and without disabilities, from Halabja. The primary objective of this camping experience was to foster peacebuilding and coexistence through active youth participation. Key sessions during the event focused on topics such as dialogue as a method of critical thinking, nonviolence and sustainable peace, problem-solving, and building self-confidence. Additionally, participants engaged in enjoyable sports and art activities. This camping initiative was organized within the framework of "Enhancing Social Cohesion and Peace Building through Youth Participation" by the Halabja Disabled Organization, in collaboration with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and with the financial support of the Government of the Netherlands.
